Campbell River-ites were out in full force (well not really, but a turnout of more than a dozen people is pretty good around here), to protest Canada Post's decision to stop house-to-house mail delivery.
I personally, don't have much of an opinion either way on this issue. Almost all of my correspondence is done electronically, but I can see why some others would have vehement opposition. I mostly just came out to see hillbilly rockers Kin Fo play their music, and they didn't disappoint. Rocking out on washboards, wash bucket bass and even conventional instruments like drums and guitar, they pleased the crowd of Posties and semi-disgruntled residents.
If you get they chance to see them play a live show, take it. I hear they can be hired to play gigs in your living room or at a barbeque!
