Last week I took a mid-week short trip to Vancouver, primarily to see Faith No More kick off their first North American tour on over 18 years, but also to do some shopping, eat at a great restaurant or two, and, of course, to take pictures.
I had thought through a hotel at which to stay while in Vancouver, with photos being top of mind. I didn't, however, bother to make a reservation as this trip was last minute and a seat-of-the-pants affair. Which is just how I like it. Upon arriving at said Hotel (shout out to Best Western Chateau Granville, they were great), I asked for a room with a balcony. After a few scrolls of the mouse the front desk attendant informed me with regretful apologies that the only room she had was a single queen. Without hesitation I accepted. I was delighted to notice I had been assigned a room on the 15th floor. The top floor of the Hotel.
These are some images I took form the room.
More on the other parts of my adventure in later posts.
