I Went out to check out the Pride festivities in Campbell River on Saturday. I showed up to the Spirit Square double fisting my cameras, my Canon DSRL with an ultrawide 10-18mm lens, and my Sony a6000 with a 70-300mm sigma lens. The Canon equipped with wide angle was set to autofocus, but the big zoom on the sony I had no alternative but to manual focus. My whole point in going out with this particular setup was to see how unwieldy it would be shoot in this fashion. And it was. Much as I had anticipated, just lugging around two cameras was bad enough, but I had recently removed the neck strap from the sony, replacing it with a leaner wrist strap. I'm not sure that was the right decision. All and all it was completely manageable, but I may look into A black rapid strap or something to ease the burden.
